Our mission is never finished. Our mission to help bring smiles to the ones in need, give a voice to the unheard, to defend hope and give communities in need optimism. We work with passion and deep humility, contributing to something that will outlast each of us as individuals.
We will relentlessly aim to build something unprecedented. Our goals are breaking the norms, so we cannot assume that industry standards or common practices will always be right for us.
With our deep commitment to our mission, we aim to accomplish incredible things. It pushes us beyond our comfort zones, encourages us to learn new skills, and emboldens us to tackle big challenges.
We embrace opportunities to grow, take criticism on the chin, make room for uncomfortable conversations, and respect each other’s perspectives when we don’t achieve consensus.

A cyber security industry leader, thought-leader and entrepreneur of multiple successful start-ups. With 18 years of industry experience and having worked for multi-national organizations, cyber security technology vendors and multiple successful cyber security advisory and technology firms.
He has built his reputation as a trusted cyber security and data privacy advisor to many organizations and he poses the right skills to lead SADAQAH – Ummah Crowdfunding. He holds a Master’s in Engineering from King’s College London and is also a certified CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRSIC, CSSK security practitioner along with a host of technical certifications.
His passion for technology combined with humanitarian work led to the inception of SADAQAH – Ummah Crowdfunding; with the mission to transform the way we perform Sadaqah; where transparency, integrity, security and harnessing the power of unity is at the core of what we do. Our mission is to bring a smile on the faces of many; after all it is a form of Sadaqah.

He is also the host and certified coach at Muslims On Fire. It is a podcast to share the life stories of ordinary Muslims doing extraordinary things. It is an academy and hub for young generation Muslims On Fire who want discover their purpose and follow their dreams to live in prosperity.
Short Summary
Mufti Faraz studied his Islamic degree in the UK and completed his Mufti training and course in South Africa. He completed a master’s degree in Islamic Finance, Banking and Management from Newman University, UK in 2017. He has attained various finance-industry qualifications such as the IFQ, CIFE and is a Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA). He has completed an MBA diploma and specialised in Fintech at the University of Michigan, US. He holds an ACCA Accounting and Business diploma and is currently a candidate at the Chartered Insurance Institute for Regulated Financial Planning.
