Help us build and complete the construction of Masjid Noor

Urgent Sadaqah Jariyah Appeal: Help us complete Masjid Noor during this Ramadan

Bweyale Islamic Organization is requesting you brothers and sisters in Islam, locally and internationally to help and financially support the completion of Masjid Noor. 

The mosque as you can see is at a level where the foundation and brick walls have been erected but due to the lack of funds and pandemic, the work came to a standstill. We have improvised with makeshift rain protection during the rainy seasons to facilitate congregational prayers. 

As we begin to emerge from the pandemic, we now have a mission to complete Masjid Noor to serve the Muslims from the local community and village. 

The Muslim community initially wanted to acquire land and build a new masjid and organized prayer building but due to financial crisis, the project got stuck and was not able to proceed. The completion of the Masjid will help accommodate the increasing number of Muslims in the area. 

The Prophet (PBUH) said; Whoever builds a Masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Jannah [Saheeh Al-Jaami as-Sagheer]

The Importance of Masjid in the Community

At Bweyale Islamic Organisation, our aim is to give hope to the desperate and needy through our faith.  The fact that the mosques are the places where people converge to perform their congregation prayers, we take a high initiative to make sure that they are comfortable and operational.

The importance of a mosque is not only for spiritual development but also doubles as a community center and place of learning the religion. 

It is where people are united in worship, where men and women come for solace and support, and where children learn to read.

A mosque serves as a place where Muslims can come together not only for prayers, but for information, education, and meetings. Faith is vital to shaping the attitudes, beliefs, and practices that lay the foundation for everyday life and future generations. 

Faith unites people as a community, gives them strength, breeds hope, and inspires social justice as well as the perseverance to improve themselves and their lives. 

Within the Islamic context where the concept of Zakat obligates the fair distribution of wealth, faith is integral to social development.

Recently a few individuals donated for sand. So the project is half-way but with your help we can complete it.
