Eid-ul-Adha is the only time the poor can have some meat in Uganda. They look forward to Eid-ul-Adha as meat is very expensive; the poor people cannot afford it. 1kg of meat is around $4 USD which is very expensive for most poor families.

The situation for the rural communities is even more worse. Living the rural life, the people are really deprived. These people deserve the happiness of Eid as well. They are our fellow brothers and sisters. Their children deserve to look forward to finding hot steaming beef or lamb curry waiting for them as well.

Humanity Aid Foundation has been successfully distributing 100% Halal, Qurbani-Udhiyah meat for the last five years. 

Our organization reaches out to these families by giving them free portions of meat to feed their entire family.

We are targeting reach 500 needy families with Qurbani meat. Each family is approx 8 persons and will receive 5kg of Qurbani meat. We are fundraising for around 10 x cows, 15 x goats, and 15x sheep to serve 500 families. If we don't reach the target we will perform Qurbani on the money raised and distributed in accordance with the campaign.
